General Project Update (as of January 17, 2014):
The underground pipe installation is substantially completed in Chalfont Borough. Testing of the pipe and restorations to follow. Work continues on Railroad Avenue in New Britain Township between Barry and Schoolhouse Roads, as well as in the Highlands residential community.
Work continues in Warrington Township on County Line Road through the intersection of Route 611 between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
As weather conditions permit, paving restoration will take place in overnight hours with detour (road closed) in effect. There will also be daytime paving with one lane of traffic passage with flag personnel.
Map numbers 5, 6, 7, and 12 have been updated as of Jan. 17, 2014.
The Forest Park Transmission Main Extension Project is a joint project between the Forest Park Water Treatment Plant, North Wales Water Authority, North Penn Water Authority, and Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority. Over 20 miles of new water main will be installed to further enhance the regional water distribution network for areas in both Bucks and Montgomery counties.
This website provides information for 10 miles of the new main that will be installed between Forest Park Water in Chalfont and Valley Road, at the Warrington/Warminster Township boundary.
